Augusta White Draper manuscript material : 1 item 1876-1877

Augusta White Draper, a lifelong friend of English writer and adventurer Edward John Trelawny. Autograph travel diary (fragment) : 16 Oct 1876 - 6 May 1877 : (T'ANA 0042) : 168 pp. on 84 leaves of a notebook. Mrs. Draper met Edward John Trelawny for the last time on 6 Nov 1876. Their visit is recorded in this diary and appears -- with some changes and misreadings -- in R. Glynn Grylls's biography of Trelawny, p. 230-1. The diary came with some photographs of members of the Draper-White family, now filed as visual materials.
